Privacy Policy
What happens to your reference number
You type it, we pass it to the official PITC portal, your bill opens. We do not write it to a database and we do not keep a log of it.
If you tick “Remember this number on this device,” it is saved in your own browser’s local storage — on your device, not on ours. Clearing your browser data removes it. We have no way to read it.
We do not ask for your name, CNIC, phone number, email, or payment details, because the bill check needs none of them. If you write to us through the contact form, we’ll obviously have whatever you put in the message, and we use it to reply to you and nothing else.
What our host records
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. These are technical records, not tied to your bill lookup, and we don’t use them to build any profile of you.
Advertising
We are not running ads right now. No AdSense, no ad network, no advertising cookies on this site as of today.
We may add advertising later, most likely Google AdSense. If that happens, ad networks place their own cookies and read their own data, governed by their policies rather than ours. We will update this page before any ads go live, not after — and this section will say plainly that ads are running.
Third parties
When you press Check Bill, you leave for the official PITC portal, and their handling of your data is their own. The same applies to any official site we link to. We have no control over those, and we’d suggest reading their policies if it matters to you.
Children
The site is for electricity consumers managing their own bills. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes, the updated version appears here. Anything you want to ask about it, or any data you want removed from a message you sent us, use the contact page.
